Let’s try this again. Better late than never. Hello 2021. - Mid to late 2020 I thought I was ready to finally push forward and chase whatever is it that I wanted. I was in the process of finding my sound, playing shows, making content and finding a rhythm coming into my own into this city. And then it came. A huge cloud of doubt, loneliness, career anxiety and worry resulting in various depressive episodes that wiped my presence, my rhythm, my ambition and what I thought my path was all away. My dreams and goals seemed to be getting further and further away the more full days I spent locked in my room unable to get out of bed much less pick up my guitar to open up a Thursday live, post a story or even just downstairs to talk to a roommate or two. In my journey since the worst of it, I reached out. As much as I could. Started therapy, meditating, and taking on projects I believe in. Not just content to make content. Not quite at the speed as I used to have but maybe that’s what was needed. It became less about the end goal but the sights I saw along the way. The people I meet and the music that’s made not by me, but the song made by you, this city, this country, and the world. So here I am. It’s 2021. And I’m ready to take my time. Our surroundings nowadays is built upon a constant stream of content that it can be hard for one to keep up sometimes. I want you to hear my song. But on my terms. I’m looking to connect with you all and those of you like minded people who don’t mind taking some time to slow down and listen with me.
